Rabat – On Monday, Sylvie Baïpo-Temon, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie, and Central Africans Abroad, reaffirmed the Central African Republic’s unwavering and clear stance on supporting the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco.
During a press briefing following her discussions with Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Baïpo-Temon reiterated her country’s backing for the autonomy plan proposed by Morocco. She emphasized that this plan is the only credible and realistic solution for resolving the regional dispute over the Sahara, aligning with the principles of the United Nations Charter.
“The Central African Republic always stands by the Kingdom of Morocco and its efforts to find a solid and peaceful solution,” stated Baïpo-Temon. She highlighted that the Moroccan autonomy plan “is a peaceful solution that is in line with the United Nations Charter.”
Additionally, Baïpo-Temon praised the “excellent” relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Central African Republic, underscoring the strength of their bilateral ties.
