Beirut – Lebanon’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, emphasized the deep-rooted and long-standing fraternal ties between his country and the Kingdom of Morocco, reaffirming Lebanon’s unwavering support for Morocco’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Bou Habib highlighted Lebanon’s commitment to maintaining and nurturing the brotherly relationship with Morocco and its people. He reiterated Lebanon’s firm stance in support of Morocco’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, underscoring the rejection of any threats to the Kingdom’s security.
This declaration comes in the wake of a recent telephone conversation between Bou Habib and the Kingdom of Morocco’s ambassador to Lebanon. During the call, the two officials discussed a recent conference held in Beirut that had featured positions hostile to Morocco. Bou Habib expressed Lebanon’s condemnation of any statements or actions that could undermine Morocco’s stability and territorial integrity.
Minister Bou Habib stressed that Lebanon values its fraternal relations with Morocco and is eager to strengthen cooperation across various fields. “Lebanon praises the fraternal relations with Morocco and always aspires to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries in all domains,” he stated.
This reaffirmation of solidarity and support underscores the enduring bond between Lebanon and Morocco, rooted in mutual respect and shared values. As both nations navigate the complexities of regional and international politics, their commitment to each other’s sovereignty and security remains a cornerstone of their diplomatic relations.
