The Sultanate of Oman has reiterated its firm support for the Kingdom of Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, while also commending His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s pivotal role as Chairman of the al-Quds Committee in defending the Holy City and preserving its unique identity.
In a joint communiqué released at the conclusion of the 7th Moroccan-Omani Joint Commission, held Sunday in Muscat, Oman expressed **deep appreciation for the wisdom and leadership of HM the King—may God preserve Him—**particularly regarding his unwavering efforts in support of the Palestinian cause and the preservation of al-Quds Asharif’s civilizational and spiritual status.

The high-level meeting was co-chaired by Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and his Omani counterpart, Badr Bin Hamad Bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, and highlighted the strength of diplomatic ties and shared values between the two nations.
On the regional front, Oman reaffirmed its clear and principled support for Morocco’s sovereignty over its entire national territory, describing the Kingdom’s Autonomy Initiative as “serious and realistic”, and the only viable basis for resolving the Moroccan Sahara issue.
“Oman values Morocco’s commitment to a peaceful resolution in the service of regional stability and security across the Maghreb,” the communiqué emphasized.
The statements reflect a broader convergence of views on pressing regional issues and a shared commitment to peace, cooperation, and Arab solidarity.
