Washington D.C., November 2, 2025 — In a heartfelt display of patriotism and gratitude, the Moroccan community in the United States is organizing a celebratory gathering in front of the White House this Sunday, November 2, at 12:00 PM, to mark the international recognition of Morocco’s Autonomy Plan for its southern provinces and to celebrate National Unity.
The event, organized under the theme “Celebrating National Unity: Allah, Al Watan, Al Malik” (“God, the Homeland, the King”), aims to bring together Moroccans and friends of Morocco from across the U.S. to express their pride in this historic moment and to thank the United States of America for its continued support of Morocco’s sovereignty and stability.
Participants are encouraged to bring both the Moroccan and American flags to symbolize the strong and enduring friendship between the two nations — a partnership built on shared values of peace, cooperation, and mutual respect.
“This is more than just a celebration,” said one of the organizers. “It’s a moment of unity for all Moroccans, wherever they are, to honor their homeland and to express appreciation for the international support that has affirmed Morocco’s efforts toward peace, stability, and regional development.”
The gathering will feature patriotic chants, flag displays, and expressions of gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, whose leadership continues to inspire national pride and promote a vision of progress and inclusiveness across all regions of Morocco.
The celebration in Washington D.C. reflects the deep emotional connection between Moroccans abroad and their homeland — a collective affirmation of identity, unity, and hope for a prosperous future.
As Morocco continues to strengthen its diplomatic and cultural ties globally, this event stands as a powerful reminder that national unity transcends borders, and gratitude can be expressed not just in words but through meaningful, peaceful gatherings that celebrate friendship and shared destiny.
